- Right now he is about 14 1/2 pounds and 23 inches long, he is only in the 5% for a 6 month old but that is ok since he was a month early, but he is catching up! He finally made it onto the charts!
- Rex is such a happy boy! He is always smiling and laughing (except, it seems when I get the camera out he stops to stare at the camera)
- He is rolling from his tummy to his back and is so close to start rolling from his back to his tummy.
- He can sit up pretty well with support, and it won’t be long till he is doing that on his own too.
- He LOVES his hands and constantly has his fingers in his mouth sucking on them and drooling all over :)
- He likes to scream (happily) when he is happy, he is screaming an squealing! I don’t know how we got such a loud boy since Andrew and I are both pretty quiet, (2 negatives equal a positive, so 2 quiet people equal a loud one???)
- He likes to be around people hates when he has to leave to go to sleep. He really fights it with kicking and punching and growling (yes he growls! lol) but he usually falls asleep pretty quick.
- He sleeps between 7-10 hours at night! which I love! He only takes short little naps during the day but I don’t mind as long as he sleeps through the night. It has helped me not be so exhausted at work.
- He is getting very curious. I love when he is trying to figure out something cuz he gets a very concentrated look on his face

5 Generations
Rex is lucky to have one of his great-great grandfathers alive and we were able to get a 5 generation picture with him. He is the grandfather who Rex is named after—Rex Dalley, my Dad’s maternal grandfather and is 96 years young! My mom made this cute little scrapbook layout with the picture. I think you can click on it to see it bigger/better.

Halloween Fun
Carving pumpkins with Andrew’s brother Alex and his wife Kayla
First pumpkin says “Rex” second is just a goofy face with humongous ears…Both of them Andrew did.
My pumpkin :)
Kayla’s pumpkin
And for some reason, I didn’t get a good picture of Alex’s pumpkin
We didn’t take Rex trick-or-treating but we did have my Smith family Halloween party to go to and I couldn’t resist dressing him up! He was a cute little Fireman:

Rex’s new friend.
So the other day I took Rex to go visit my cousin and her baby Isaac who is about 2 months older than him. Since they are both still pretty small…they didn’t do much interacting with each other but it was still cute to see them together. Here are a few pics from the day
“Uggh mom! I’m so bored can we leave yet?”
“Hmm…what can I do to get us out of here quick?”
“Hehehe…I got it…something she will never expect…now I just have to be really sneaky…”
“Errh…ehh…grumpf…pfif…”
“Ahhh…mission complete…”
“Evil exploding diaper! (Cue evil laugh) Mwahahaha!”
Ok that’s not really what happened but I thought the pictures fit and were funny…Rex has a pretty expressive face sometimes and provides us with much entertainment :) We love him so much!

2 months
Well today he had his 2 month appointment and he is 8lbs 4 oz! that is double what he was at birth! he has also grown 3 inches and is now 19 inches long. He is getting to be such a big boy! 2 months has flown by. I returned to work this week and it was hard. I do like being back and being around grown ups but I miss Rex everyday.
Anyway here are some pics to show how much he has grown. I don't remember how old he was in the first 2 pictures but he was still in the hospital and about 4lbs. 8oz. The other 2 pics are from today. (I think you can click on them to see them bigger)

7 weeks old
Sasha is a cute "big sister" to Rex. Although she does get frustrated with us since we won't let her lick or get too close to him. She gets really curious and concerned when he cries or makes any noise and makes sure to let us know by nudging us (as if we don't hear him lol) a few times she has tried to give her toys to Rex so he can play with her. It's cute.
